Purpose - Why We Exist

"First Church exists to bring people to saving faith in Jesus Christ and to make disciples who make disciples."

A disciple of Jesus loves God and people and demonstrates that through their belief, character, and practices.

First Church aims to fulfill this purpose through 6 intentional ways:

Exalting Christ - by worshipping God together we will be stronger

Equipping His People - by learning and growing together we will be able to go deeper

Embracing One Another - by spending time in community we will become warmer to other people that God places in our lives

Exercising Spiritual Gifts - by discovering our passions and gifts for ministry our reach will be broader

Evangelizing Our World - by sharing our faith with others God's Kingdom will become larger

Engaging in Kingdom Justice - by serving others we will bring about God's Kingdom, making our world richer
